This camp meeting will be at Booker T State Park near Chatanooga, TN.
We have this place booked from October 13th which will be the check-in day until October 22nd. Everyone is welcome to visit. For those needing accomodations, We still have a few cabins available. You can get a bed at $70.00/each and bring your own bedding(sleeping bag, pillow) or tent on the property at $70.00/person. Each person will also be able to enjoy catered meals twice a day for 9 days at $60.00/person, and $30.00/child.
There are also a few cabins left which you can have for $400.00 for the 9 days if you would like a private cabin.
Some will be staying in Motels nearby, there are a couple nice motels within 5 miles of the park as well which seemed to be very affordable.
We price checked a few motels which were within 4 miles(6 minutes) of the park and they were very affordable for the 8 days. As low as $320.00 for a room for the full amount of time.
Econo Lodge Airport – 3.9 Miles
Motel 6 Chattanooga East -3.9 Miles
Best Western Heritage Inn – 4.0 Miles
Airport Inn – 4.0 Miles
For those who are thinking of flying in, There is an airport in Chattanooga, however, when searching online, the more affordable cities to fly into according to the internet were likely Atlanta and Nashville. Though sometimes there are good deals to Chattanooga airport.
If you are already planning to come so that we have a good estimate on the food please try to pay right away as we have to have the order in by Wednesday of next week. We can order more, but please try to have it in by that time.
Also, Mario Quintero has offered to cook all the meals and he is very excited to do this. However, we are expecting to have some extra food brought from some of our gardens. Some have volunteered and if you would like to help with this which is only helping us to keep the expenses to a minimum so many people can afford to come, please let us know.
